Part 2 – Journalism A exam review: Ethics

The four standards of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics are seek truth and report it, minimize harm, act independently and be accountable. Explain what each standard means, provide an example of how is applies to the everyday duties of reporting and state why it is important to all forms of journalism. Be specific and provide details – these are not one or two sentence answers. Elaborate.
